I can't afford to travel.
Why don't y'all come to Las Vegas? Only 2.5 hours from me.
Do I really need to sell you on Las Vegas? RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT, Show girls...tiddy bars...gambling... Elvis impersonators...Sam Ash...GC...Hard Rock Hotel...Hooters restaurant/casino/hotel...Fremont Street...strip clubs... Live music everywhere every day and every night...Wayne Newton perhaps (although, I will make fun of you)... Booze everywhere 24/7/365...walk down the streets with booze in both hands...
No Experience......stinks
GearFest........on my anniversary......doubt the wife gives me a pass....
Emphasized key word.
I just saw today that Orianthi would be at the PRS booth & performing as well. That's tempting me, but it's a 6 hour drive. And then I saw on the GearFest home page "spend the weekend with 15,000 fellow musicians" & figured even 25% of that would be a lot to meet & greet. The line has to get cut somewhere, right? I'd be a sad panda if I missed out. Decisions decisions.
This is why I'm single
Standing around in a parking lot with 15,000 people (mostly guys) on a hot summer day in the middle of nowhere in Indiana at a store...gee, that sounds like fun.
“But isn’t that pretty much what you did at PRS’ 30th Anniversary Experience, Les? Just substitute ‘factory’ for ‘store’ and ‘Maryland’ for ‘Indiana’.”
“Yup. It’s also why I only did it once.”
“Dude, it’s about the people, not the location or gear.”
“Then couldn’t the people pick, say, a nice resort on the ocean instead?”
Huh - I always assumed you didn't come back because you met me there. That's kept a number of people away.
This would be good fishing weather then, and the Midwest has some good bass fishing......
