Wish: More Solid Color Tops

I LOVE gold guitars. I have a gold Sparkle Jet, golden mesa Silver Sky but that red looks amazing!

Was watching a video with Fredrick Akesson of Opeth and wish they would release more solid color tops like this with maple necks. If they did, I'd buy one in an instant.

I'm such a doofus... When I first read this thread title I thought it said "wish more solid cedar tops".

I'm definitely one of those knucks that are suckers for flame / figuring.

But I recently saw 2 S2 594 McCarty Thinlines, in the Mint Green, and the Frost Blue. Both were beautiful. Would not throw either one outta my guitar rack !

In the flesh (cellulose) they both looked waay better than the photos. And to my surprise, I preferred the Green ...

I’d be honored to have a PRS with a painted top, either a 594, Sc594 or McCarty would do the trick. I might want to see some beautiful quartersawn wood on the back though
