Wiring a 3-conductor PRS pickup as a 2-conductor?

I am in the process of swapping out the Dragon II pickup in the bridge of my PRS CE-22 for a two-conductor SD JB that I have. Obviously I will need to also replace the 5 way rotary with a simple 3-way switch (which luckily I also already have :) ). I will also retain the Dragon II pickup in the neck which means I'll be mixing a 3-conductor pickup with a 2-conductor pickup.

Now, I know how to connect a two-conductor pickup and I know that to make a 4-conductor pickup into a 2-conductor, you solder the coil split wires together. The problem is that I'm not entirely sure how you approach a 3-conductor pickup.

Is it as simple as wiring the hot and ground wires from the Dragon II in the neck as per normal, and then simply taping off the red wire and leaving it unconnected?
