No, this is not a discussion about your searching Monster.com for a job. Nor is it about albinos.

What music projects do you foresee yourself doing as cooler weather precludes usual outdoor activities, and winter approaches?

My feeling is exploring more regards my HeadRush Gigboard's capabilities, and perhaps learning how to use Logic Pro X with some effort. Now that my garden harvest is complete and some of my composted leaves turned under, it will be possible for me to devote more time to guitar practice and recording.

Of course, this is all only an educated guess as to what will really occur. Am hoping to be ready for winter as the season wears on, and the stores put out their goods for view. I'll wait until the reviews arrive regards what will be cost-effective and easy to use.

Here in southwest Florida, "winter" means I can hang out in the garage for an extended period without fear of heatstroke. I plan to try my hand at fret leveling and fret replacement on a couple of cheapie necks I have. I might even get really wild and try to build a cigar box guitar.

My house foundation walls are basically made of the rocks they
got out when they dug the hole for the cellar 112 years ago.
(That's how they did it back then.)

Some of the 112 year old cement has deteriorated over the years.
I will be removing whatever cement is loose or crumbling and
redoing it with new cement. Last time it was done was 1979.

One of our closest friends before they moved upstate had to redo their foundation before they could sell. That, and the sump pump. Not sure if they hired a contractor or did the work themselves. My guess was the contractor.

Best wishes, you've got work ahead of you..

Wintering in Florida...the only time I'd be in Florida...phew...just don't go wild and try a harp guitar...

I am getting my first actual audio interface (scarlett focusrite solo 3) in a few days to start recording guitar! My next thing outside of recording is building. I am building a guitar kit with my father and I am going to experiment a little bit with a slab of mahogany or something like that to start working on a little practice for a guitar body idea I had.

I’m not nearly ready to plan winter projects. I still have autumn to get through. I’ve almost got my deck ready to restrain: cleaning a few years of grunge took a while. Then sand down the wood fibre that couldn’t handle the cleaning.

I have a couple of lakes to ride my bike around before it gets too cold to want to.

And a tiny bulldog to deliver to Alberta.
