I've searched a bit. The WTTT seems to be liked here, as we would expect in this crowd. The sale has me thinking I might want another pedal I don't need. Any comments or updates from owners now that the "new" has worn off? Does it really do a decent approximation of chorus also? How about a decent approximation of a Phaser? Thanks all, I'm off to view videos of it again.

I haven’t, but price is the only reason I haven’t tried it. That’s a lot for a “limited use” (for me) pedal. But who knows… If you get it you might use it more than you think. I wouldn’t be surprised if one found its way into my music room. I DO have some other pedals I don’t use a lot that would free up some gear funds.

Long time I was very reluctant in buying pedals after having returned to amp & cab rigs for daily use.
Until then my setup consists of a floorboard made by Line 6 (I ended with HELIX starting at Pod 2.0 + floorboard, succeeded by XTLive, by HD500, and HD500X).
I discovered the handy 100W amps by Thomas Blug. He then announced his all-in-masterpiece Amp X with release days. But he needed to postpone due to more complex development, than he expected. In 2023 in bought my first pedal, a delay, in 2024 I bought 4, H90 Dark, Lester K, Mary Cries and Wind Through The Trees.

Mary Cries is permantly on, WTTT on purpose.
Though it's a Dual Flanger, I set it, that it sounds more like a chorus.
I confirm high pricings. What I don't like is the loud mechanical clicking of the footswitch. On both.
The delay and the Lester K have silent switches.

WTTT is a nice dual oscillator that you can play with to get a huge variety of phaser, flanger, and chorus effects. I don't use it often, but when I do, I find it quite interesting, and it allows me to explore soundscapes.

The sale concerns me - it signals that PRS is dumping their remaining stock and are giving up on pedals, which is too bad, since I have all three, and think they do a great job for which they were intended. But they weren't the cheapest, so I guess that made them not worth the risk to try for many guitarists, who could grab something equivalent for less usually.

I just ordered one. They do the sales a couple times a year. They could be dumping pedals. They are really good pedals, but they don't seem to get the traction they deserve. The compressor seems to be universally well reviewed, as does the WTTT. The pedal that shall not be named seems to get teased for its name, and sometimes called harsh and not a Klone. Settings can make it harsh, so don't set it there... It is its own thing, not a Klone. I like it. Looking forward to the WTTT, thanks all!

Sorry for double post -

Is this a “Loop Pedal” like delay, or an “into the front” like dirt? Noting that everything is into the front right now because I’m lazy, but I’ll eventually start using the loop again, so I ask. What are ya’ll doing, just for reference?

This is my sentiment, too. If a piece of gear does a great job, it's worth having whether they come out with something else, or not.

I also think there's value in unusual and interesting tones.

Pettyjohn has stopped making (or made only limited runs of) every one of their pedals I have on my board. Suhr has changed up all of their pedals as well. But I still use mine happily. They aren't the 'usual suspects', they're more for folks who want their own sonic signatures.

That's a wonderful thing!

It's true my H9s are common as dirt, but I've created presets for them, so there's enough individuality to make me happy.

I still wish I could find the post I made YEARS ago about "I'll bet PRS is going to make pedals!" and everyone was like "no way, bruh."

Yeah.
This is the oldest one I can find from you (from 2013), but you mention in it that you mentioned "PRS pedals" a year before - I can't find that post. You sure it was here, or maybe somewhere else?

Heh @Maertl513, if you still have your Amp1, try this… set the amp to the clean channel with some reverb, no boost, then use your overdrive pedals for crunch, solos ect… it’s way fatter sounding/bigger tones like a tube guitar amp than the 3 overdrive channels on the amp. I run my chorus, delay ect through the fx loop. Sounds stellar. It also records direct flawlessly….. I’ve been running it this way for 3 years now. Live band or duo or recording…..Bought a few of them. (Don't know what’s up with the company. Looks like Thomas & the Chinese factory can’t deliver on the AmpX )
It’s to bad. The Amp1 platform, which he has all but given up on, was perfect for more models, development and expansion….

My WTTT is in my loop. Sounds great.

Waaah! Ordered a week and a half ago, and no shipping or tracking info yet. I emailed them yesterday, I’m sure I’ll hear tomorrow. I just don’t have anyone at home to complain to. My lovely wife and daughter could care less.

And all is good now. Just as I thought, I heard back today. Scheduled for 5/6 delivery.
