Will there be a SC 250 offering in the future?

In the future I would like to add another Maryland built guitar, and I am thinking single cut.
My 2012 SE Tremonti Custom is fun to play, and I really like the 25" scale and wide/thin neck, and pattern thin neck of my 408 MT.

The only offering right now is the Tremonti.
I like the Maryland built Tremonti very much, but I would like a traditional SC without the tremolo bridge, and possibly metal pickups or whatever else I could have from the factory.

The SC 245 is out for me, as I just do not bond with the 24.5" scale as much as I do the 25" scale.
Quite possibly why my 2012 SE Santana is the least played of my stable, and the fact it has a wide/fat neck on it.

I may end up with a new Tremonti in the future though if an SC 250 is never coming back.
Any info from the pipeline on this?

Yes Corey,

The SC250 is available now (only) in the Artist package. Check out the Artist Package Page. I assume the most recent specs (2012) still apply. A call to the friendly neighborhood dealer can get you set up with the details. That said, what color is it going to be??

Thanks Audie, I will check it out.
Not sure on a color, but some of the greens I have seen would look great.

Thanks John, wanting a core, plus the S2 has the wrong neck for me.
That pattern regular is like a wide/fat kind of right?
I dig thin necks.

No - pattern is like the wide/fat. Pattern regular is like the regular neck - not as fat as a wide/fat, but not as thin as a wide/thin. It is a very comfortable neck for me, but YMMV.

The closest alternative to the SC 250 would be the S2 Singlecut that's coming out this year. I'm not sure whether the S2 is weight-relieved/chambered or not though.

From my experience, the Pattern Regular feels like Fender necks, extremely comfortable, not as thin as the Wide Thin and not as chunky as the Wide Fat. So, it's kind of like, the best of both worlds, you get the playability of the WT, but you got the tone from the WF.

The Chris Henderson Signature is an SC250 of sorts, no? Pattern neck though which could be a problem. Seems to tick most of your other boxes though.

Corey - FWIW I was noodling around yesterday and switched from my CU22 (WF) right to my S2 Mira (Pattern Regular) and, while it's certainly no wide thin, it's definitely less meaty than a WF.

The S2 SC with the #7s is at the top of my 2014 list, unless I find a Stripper for a steal...

Find a stocking dealer and try the S2 SC and see how you like it before you continue searching elsewhere.
The necks on the S2's are supposed to be mass appeal friendly because they have only one size. You might like it.
