Why would anyone play anything else?

I try to play banjo. Just started so it's really different. That right hand is "unusual".

I used this book to learn. Written in 1972 or so, still available and still the best to get someone off to a structured, correct start.

I came really close to buying a banjitar or whatever they're called. A 6 string banjo tuned like a guitar. It's bridge had a felt piece and it just didn't sound like a banjo.
