So...now I'm getting bass GAS. See here: http://prsguitars.com/forum/showthread.php?11954-PRS-Exploration-day-review&p=184991#post184991

If it were just Kingfisher GAS, I could deal with that. But now I'm gassing for a $3k bass rig! I'm not a damn bass player! Guitar gear is bad enough but I can't get that KT-88 amp sound outta my head, so start searching tube bass heads. WTF? Get out of my head! Before you know it I won't be able to live without a Grainger. &$@# me. Gonna go buy a mega millions ticket.

Don't you know how dangerous it is to "explore" at the guitar store? Shame on you!

I know, I know. I may fall victim to the Kingfisher at some point, but I'm a long way off from dropping serious $ on bass gear. I have a PS that I gotta build! The itch for that gets worse every Friday too, it's turning into a wicked rash!

i'm still waiting to try both the Kingfisher and the Kestral but my dealer has yet to acquire them to provoke my GAS. so please feel free to let me live vicariously through your GAS

Give into the force of the Kingfisher, you know you want too.
Just check out those sexy curves and that neck through body.

Corey, your KF is the nicest piece of ash I've seen on one. Who doesn't like a nice, curvy ash? :)

Kingfisher is quite likely to be my next PRS as well. Need humbuckers on a bass to round things out.

When my son was maybe 12, I got him a white G&L bass with a maple board, it's still his only bass, and has been used on quite a few records.

I have a hankering to match it with a PRS version!
