Why Guitar World Can Still Suck It..

Admit it, there's a tiny part in everybody that would be flattered to be in Guitar World or some other rag like it, it's one of those childhood dreams that little guitar dudes have. Well back in March 2003 I had my first opportunity.... And they picked the one picture with my face covered!!!!!!! Basitds!!!!!!!! Burn in Hades to this day you..you.. Jerks. I guess I did need the lesson in humility... but still, I'll never forgive you GW.

Hey, could be worse... at least you can see most of your face. Two of the guys are wearing masks, and the guy on the left isn't even looking at the camera, so you're ahead in my book.

In the first press my first band got, we got a write-up in our local music rag... they said a few nice things about our CD, and printed our band promo pic. Most of it, anyway. They cropped me (the singer, no less) out of it completely. At least you're still in the photo, LOL!

On a side note, this reminds me how much I miss Guitar Sam.

I had the laminate Hawk and McGill decks. I can't remember if the Caballero was a laminate. Do you know how hard it was to actually get the McGill to separate into two pieces once I cracked it?!?!

I tried that once... too much gear to haul around, plus I had to fire the bass player for wearing a baseball cap on stage. Heres a pic from the Jaggro an S.P. years.. Look at that rack! And that was my "small" rig! 12 space shock-mount, double-tiered foot pedal, and two 4x12's! God, no wonder I hate amps so much now...
