When you look at the History of a young Paul Reed Smith and the introduction and relationship with Carlos Santana, the question has to eventually be asked... Who was the Luckiest?

18 months ago, that question came into my mind and the Private Stock Team was very kind to Let me Spec and Build the # 7777 Private Stock. The inspiration also had a personal connection to this Forum for me. Some of you also were here very early, and will remember or still have a PRS Playing Card that Paul had signed and given to early Forum members who committed to help support this wonderful PRS Forum...
The 7 of Diamonds, was the card I received signed from Paul. In Fact, The Club, Diamond, Hearts and Spade # 7 Cards where the Santana Guitar.. so we began the quest to build # 7777
Carlos, has spent a ton of time performing in Las Vegas and the thought occurred I should spin this guitar based on the Lucky Man Theme..
Carlos Santana Signature Model and Color most represented by Carlos (like the Card)
Start with a PS Eagle on the Headstock... Classic Paul Design
Moving Down the Fretboard
There the 4 Aces...A Winning Hand
Tumbling Dice 5+2 Combination = 7
A Slice of the Roulette Wheel with the Ball in the #7 Slot
And Finally the One Arm Bandit combination 7777 on the Heel..
This is a Very Special Guitar, and the PS Team made sure it was Spectacular!
Enjoy!! We picked every single piece of wood for this Guitar in October...
