It's that time again, I've got the itch. Here is what I have been pondering:

22Frets
Artist Package
Brazzy board
57/08, 59/09 pups
Would love a "fade" finish (not faded)
PRS Trem
Budget is $4600 max


I was seriously contemplating the Walnut LTD but I haven't seen one dark enough for my tastes. I also was maybe considering a McSoapy Korina along with another Core PRS if my budget could handle. I'd love to hear all of you weigh in;)

Oh man...If you could live without the brazzy fingerboard and go used... What about one of those CU22 semi-hollow LTDs and PTC the finish? You could do something totally unique that nobody else will have. Stock colors are great and all but the PTC can give you something special.

Or just say screw it and get the Walnut LTD.

Ooh! What about a korina McSoapy and a DC3 for some strat flavor? The DC3's seem to be cheap enough on ebay.
 
A Korina Soapbar McCarty is way, way up on my recommendation list. Mine is the the single best sounding guitar I own.

FWIW I suspect the Walnut limited colors may be a little darker than the pics I've seen surfacing. Here are two Eric sent of mine, it arrives on Wednesday so I may be able to post better pics then. The price I paid for it was significantly under your budgeted amount.
