From "Ask Keith Richards":
I have a hard enough time standing up with feet.
I’ve got delusions of grandeur!
it’s like he’s proud of how bad he sounds next to ronnie wood.
Bear in mind that this is someone who often doesn't need a 6th string on his guitars.
frustrated banjo player.
I'm with Keith on this one, and it ain't due to foot problems or balance issues, ..... ....... it just sounds better to me without them.
I haven’t used a pedal yet this year, but I have been meaning to test the batteries in them.
You always need a boot available to stamp on the cigarette butts.
Pffffttt...the question is...would Keef, be able to even remember if he uses them or not?
I'm pretty sure he's been dead for like 20 years...I was expecting to see a puppeteer pop up from behind him at any monent. I think the interview should have been called "Weekend at Keefs"
I've got a couple pedals ... somewhere...
When you can crank your amp every time you play... sure, no pedals.
But, Keith also has one basic tone he has to get. So there's that.
One basic tone?? My tone varies whether I'm playing through the HXDA, Archon, or both...
Wait, wait, if I had known we were talking about Dr. Tone DMD, I would've changed my tune!!!
Tone schmone.....what I really wanna know is if I should keep flossing?
Only the ones you want to keep
Two channel amp with reverb. Stock amp pedal, good to go for me.
Then I got a Kemper...
I hardly use them anymore. Just a chorus and delay in the loop, and that's only at gigs.
