The ME1 has 57/08s as well. I kept the original pickups for both though.

I'd keep the one you like more. The last time I moved one, it was the one I played/liked the least. Keep in mind, at one point that guitar was #1 so it was no slouch. But I don't have that many guitars either. Ya know what? I say get rid of some other brand of guitar

Oh, I have been. I'm down to 2 Fenders, an SRV and a Clapton Strat. I'm down to 4 Kramers. And I have 2 SWEET Les Pauls for sale at the moment. I'm actually going to list a 3rd one for sale in the near future. I just need to put all of the original parts back on it. I am making progress though. I just did a new inventory. Since the "Great Purge" began, I've reduced the harem by 7.

I'd keep the FBJ, that's one is special - It's a player. I didn't think you'd ever part with it, that's the one in your sig over on VR, right?

( The fact that you are thinking of selling it makes me wish I'd NOT just bought the Paul's so I could call DIBBS. )

Well, a quick update...I whipped out the soldering iron. I loved the tone of the zebra 57/08s, but I thought they were a little busy for the vintage vibe of the McCarty. Here she is now...looks pretty much stock.

As for the ME1, I removed the 57/08s and put the RP neck back in, along with a DGT bridge.
