Ok - I'm new to tho forum but PRS. I have a Custom 24, 10 top, birds, etc. Paul signed the back plate for me in Tampa when he was doing a clinic. Now my question is this,
Ive had many amps, presently a DR. Z MAZ head and a Bugera combo. Both have their place but Im looking for a much better amp that has a tight bottom that can sustain
and perform at different levels of Volume and gain. Anything that come close to a Dumble, Bludotone like......

Im not gigging anymore but don't want to carry around a anchor either, Thanks in advance for any advice. I've had watched a number of Pauls video's on you tube but would still like some input!

Bob, as a guy who's owned half a dozen Two-Rock amps, I'm not hearing Dumble in the PRS lineup.

But you really ought to check out the new Archon. It's got lots going on in the versatility department!

I should also mention that the HXDA is an amazing amp, gorgeous sustain and bloom, and very adaptable. Can be controlled simply with the guitar volume.

Of course, it's got a very different tone than a Dumble style amp, but it's beyond wonderful, and has a cool voice of its own. I can also recommend the DG30 for what it does, but you may have some of its tones covered with your Maz (been a while since I've played a Maz, but the gain structure is not too dissimilar if I remember correctly, and you seem to be more interested in a sustaining kind of amp voicing).
