They are all good if quality control catches them before they leave the factory.
I own a Gibson 2012 '61 SG Reissue that is flawless, but I have heard/read of others with brand new ones getting flaws in them.
It did require a setup on it though, had my local PRS dealer do that for me.
What really counts is the QC like I mentioned above, and PRS takes an extra step it seems to assure that whatever leaves the factory plays/looks nice.
Most other brands require major setups on them after they leave the factory.
I am really impressed with the three (four counting my son's) SEs I have bought.
They play great, and the finish on them is flawless.
It will be nice to see how the 408 MT I have on order looks/plays after I get it in my hands.
