Where does the inspiration come from?

While surfing the PRS dealer's sites today, I saw this at Brian's and started wondering...Where have I seen this before....

I'm guessing this was the inspiration. (but I could be wrong:iamconfused

The Custom totally needs more hood scoops! Very cool though. Maybe some spinners or knockoff knobs? And a blower...switch.
