It’s a recreation of the guitar Paul built for Peter Frampton.

That was the original headstock design, and [email protected] yeah I’d rock it.

It's cool and all but I think the current headstock shape is unbeatable.

Ahh that must be the latest limited run from private stock. I’m expecting to see the announcements and promotion features anytime now.

Wouldn’t, although I understand the historical reference, and don’t blame someone for wanting it.

I wasn’t aware they were the ones that commissioned them. They’re on some next level sh!t over there, for what seems like relative newcomers.

And... I don’t know whether to SMH or LOL at the four “no” votes. That guitar is sofaking Bangin’!

From the top carve to the recessed Badass bridge down to the Schaller M6’s that guitar is an amazing homage and capital C.O.O.L.

    I can respect that.

I appreciate the historicity, but then I look at the funky routing for that bridge, and the neck tenon cutout thing, and it makes me realize that PRS has certainly come a very long way.

It’d be fun to play one just for grins, though.

The neck tenon cutout thing is my favorite. I have dreams of ordering a PS with that.

I think you should get that order placed immediately! Because very soon the factory will be overwhelmed with orders for my sig model.

@jfb and I were already on our way to egg John Mayer’s house for the delay in PS production.... now we’re swinging through Michigan on our way home.

I’m surprised! The amount of R&D, CNC programming, and not least a few prototypes, usually would lend to wider release and production. Very impressive of Moore’s if that’s the case.

PRS actually tracked down 70s NOS Leo Quans and Schallers for that run. I just read the story earlier today and now I can’t find it. :D

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. o_O

Count me as the 5th No vote. Maybe you have to appreciate the full history of PRS guitars to appreciate this specific one.
