What's your ideal 3-guitar PRS quiver within the current core line-up?

Well ..now that it's actually out there the DGT Semi would be a great #3 .. the price is really about the same as a Nice special .. so ..

there's a guy here that's interested in my Walnut LTD ... hmmm ... very tempting . ..I may just weaken

just for grins .. here's a sample of another DGT semi ...

Sounds like a no brainer…..

There’s something about that video where that guitar looks like a miniature in that guy’s hands.

Imagined scenario: all of your guitars have been destroyed in an unfortunate smelting accident, but because you're a dedicated member of this forum you've been offered your choice of any three guitars from PRS' current core line-up so long as you remain loyal to the brand and keep them as your only 3 guitars forever. Which 3 do you choose?

My personal 3-guitar quiver would probably have to be:
1. Custom 24 (probably floyd)
2. Santana
3. Silver Sky

Might have considered an HBII piezo instead of the Santana for extra versatility, but the Santana is just so good. What are your 3?
Love is what I got:

HBII Piezo
ME-V
Silver Sky

Santana coming soon I hope ;-)

What about SE?? For me:

ZM
Silver Sky
HBII

You very specifically said "Core", so I'm choosing models only from this page:

1. DGT - I still believe it's greatest PRS ever made.
2. Custom 24 Floyd - Because I need at least one Floyd-equipped guitar in my arsenal at all times.
3. Studio - I'd want some convincing "in between" tones.

Why do you believe the DGT to be the greatest out of curiosity? I do have a DGT wood library on order. Can’t wait.

I love the neck carve, I love the jumbo frets, I LOVE the pickups, I love the control layout.

Everything about the DGT feels extremely well thought-out and useable…

Since CORE line up does not include the Silver Sky, here are my 3:
- Special Semi Hollow
- Santana (I'd have to plunk down some cash to move the knobs...)
- HB II

** If we can include the Bolt On models, swap the Special Semi for the Silver Sky

As far as I can recall, only this guy has ever had an unfortunate shmelting accident and it was not guitash he losh as a reshult. Just shaying…

The three I would start with if I had to do it all over again, assuming all electric:

HB II (with piezo, in case the non-piezo is still an option)
Silver Sky
ME V, probably with maple beck/FB and Swamp Ash / Maple body.

The SSH would be a possible substitute for the MEV.

That would cover all the possible territory I would desire. Would I also like a SC594? Heck yeah! Or one of the discontinued models? Yep!

1. 408
2. McCarty 594 sc
3. Custom 22 semi hollow

These three cover all my live needs, and most of my studio needs. Using the right amps and pedals, I’ve found that I can cover just about any genre of music I play. ( I also own an older Martin, for acoustic stuff. ) * What I’ve found over my 55+ years of playing is that my hands, even at my age, dictate what comes out of any guitar I play. I use PRS guitars because they the best playing, and in tune guitars, on the planet.
