Factors to determine a proper assumption:
Budget, time, GAS sensitivity, tone addiction and holy grail tendency, tonal flexibility, space, storing reality, spouse's or fiance's rules, and so on.
Our household consists of:
1x Squier 3/4 Strat (belongs to our daughter, but it turned out to be deko only for her)
2× electrics, 2× acoustics (my wife's)
14× electrics, 2x acoustics (mine)
1× 2×12 Combo
1× Blackstar Fly 3
1× 100W tube head
1x 100W class D pedal amp
1x Helix
1x HD500X
1× 4×12
1× 12"/10" combination
1× 1×12"
1× pedalboard
But: All of my wife's guitars, three of mine (2 electrics, 1 acoustic), the 100W tube head, the 4×12, the 2×12 combo and HD500X are stored in the basement of my parents in law's house.
At our home I have 12 electrics in two wooden stands (which fulfill the aesthetical demands of my spouse) and a single stand. The Western guitar hangs aswell on a single stand.
My intent to buy these guitars was necessarily not a certain tone hunt. It was the respective guitar.
My (current) opinion on my stock is: I'm satisfied.
And finally some Happy-wife-happy-life guitarstand proposals:
It was formerly a close-to-floor stand, but I elevated it to integrate my cab with enlarged side elements made by a local carpenter.
It carries three guitars made by luthier Peter Steinacher (brandname Linus), his collaboration with pickup-winder Max Mauluff (Peter made the neck and did the final setup, Max contributed the body of an Aria Legend Pro and he made the pickguard), my both 513s, and my EBMM Kaizen 7.
The four guitars stand is s little bit DIY. I had the sites of the seven-guitars-stand remaining and integrated three bars, one with four neck rests and two with adhesive (artificial) leather liners as rests for the guitar sides.
I carries four Ps: PRS SE Tremonti, PRS SE Holcomb, Parker Fly Deluxe, Peavey HP2 NOS.
The Reverend has got its own Ultimate stand.
