What would???

Wow, that's a cool thing to think about. I think he'd have a 594 and either a CU24 or CE24/DW.

Sad that he was taken away SO young. Who knows if he would've grown further (possible even?) or kind of stayed the same.

I'd think CU24 Floyd with \m/ pickups, possibly alongside a 594 of some flavor. Depending on whether he went for higher gain pups as they developed.

When I think Rhoads I think Jackson Rhoads. I love, love, love that shape. I lusted after one hard because I saw Dan Spitz from Anthrax with a Rhoads and I loved Anthrax. Persistence of Time IS thrash! To think about not having those memories makes me sad.

I had a white Les Paul with gold hardware just because of him. Never bonded with it and ended up selling it off. I've always kind of liked that polka dot V, too. But the Jackson Rhoads shape is the one that really spoke to me. I'd love to have one of the replica Jacksons or one of the white Concorde runs that was done. I did finally pick up a silver Rhoads a few years ago when WMC had some killer pricing on them. Ergonomically, it's not the greatest fit for my gut, but it's undeniably a blast to play. The only thing I'd change, and I'm still thinking about taking it in to have this done, is I'd like to change the wiring from MV-T-T to DGT wiring - V-V-MT. Ideally, I'd like to get a stacked tone knob and go V-V-T-T w/o altering the pick guard, but I can deal with a master tone.
