So, you guys know what I like. You even know specifics of color, fingerboard, etc. So, what exactly, would my perfect "strat" style guitar be?

Go

Having owned 10 or 12 Strat type guitars, the SS was easily my favorite, followed closely by the Fender EC Strat.

But, you'd need a Super Strat style. I'm going Strandberg Standard 6 :p

Explain... Are you saying I'm super? Or, that I need a Super lot of help? Or. :D (Are you meaning you think I need a bridge HB?)

Well that's different. I've heard of those but haven't seen one that looked like that.
You’re both super, and need a super amount of help :D

You need something like a Strat, but totally different!

I never found the bridge single coil useful. I am always looking for a humbucker in the bridge position.
There is an even (Super) Strat-ier looking Strandberg with a pickguard called Strandberg Classic. Newer models come with Suhr pickups. Check them out...

I've got a single coil sized P90 (I mean normal Strat size) in the bridge position of my EJ Strat. Definitely makes the bridge more useful for me. Still single coil flavoured but without the shrill top end and a bit more ompf. Turn tone control down a notch or two as well and it makes those smooth EJ runs - well it would if I could play them

My favorite "Strat" Type guitar is the Silver Sky. If by Strat your talking classic Strat. Pick guard three Single coil Ect..
If you are talking super shredder Strat type of thing. Jackson soloist USA made mid 80's whith a Kahler trem. and HSS.
Now if you are talking "Strat" body guitar I have a custom built "Strat" Koa body and loaded with all PRS hum buckers and trem. That is the most amazing "Strat" I own.
In fact it will be in Premier guitars guitar of the month January issue.

Strat is a pretty broad term in guitar world I guess.

I need to talk to you guys with Silver Skys…

are the 2 and 4 positions extremely weak? Almost useless?? No quack, just thin, much lower volume tone???

Extremely weak? No. Bottom end is still prevalent, and some highs are not present which could be viewed as weak.
Definitely not useless at all.
