My new cu24 appears to be slightly out of spec. My daughter's CE got itself a new nut and saddles over the weekend and it's smoother playing now than the custom since I was able to bring the front of the bridge up to 1/16 and get it to intonate. The front of my trem is at 1/32 and the rear is 1/16. It's new and shouldn't have been adjusted but it was hanging in the store for a year so who knows... the knife edge looks good and it's smooth but it's not to spec. I've successfully adjusted one. Would you adjust the new one? Strings and springs off of course.

How does it play? Does it stays in tune when u use the arm (and use the hell out of it to try it out) ? If it stays in tune, I wouldn't touch it before at least the first string change. IMHO

I adjusted my DGT recently because of some tuning problems. After following Johns instructions it now works perfectly.I also put some light machine oil in the screw notches.

It comes back a bit sharp. I did not lube the nut though so that could be it. It's minor so don't believe it's binding. I ordered a few sets of strings so think I'll pop the springs off and adjust it up. The CE plays like a dream with scantily clad women... The cu like a regular dream... I like scantily clad women!

I used that video for the ce... Worked great. I've already oiled the mounting screw. I ordered a tube of nut sauce, wonder is that would work better on the mounting screws?

the tremol-no came in along with the extra strings and nut sauce so tore it apart and adjusted the trem in the process.... Huge huge improvement! Glad I did it.
