What PRS guitars do you own that have been discontinued?

And I obviously haven't looked at the regular core models in a while... always looking at something new or different when I go to the PRS site.
That's the take away... always changing and innovating.
Kinda makes you do that Spok raised eyebrow thing when they drop what you bought but here we are...

The funny thing is, I've looked at Custom 22 SE's, Private Stocks and S2's recently enough that I wasn't aware they dropped the core model Custom 22. I should probably have my license revoked.

I have a 1994 USA Artist II which I believe is discontinued a long time (although I won it through GGG for £2.99 lol) but it's still the best guitar I've ever owned (sound and playability) even though it came with a couple of dings. Not too bad for an almost 31 year old guitar.

Do the discontinued guitars go up in value?
It seems that, right now, everything’s gone up in value. Though the market craze over Covid cooled a tad, most prices I see people asking for common used goods make me laugh and move on quickly. If a guitar (or amp, or pedal) was discontinued and then a popular player uses one, the demand quickly rises, as do prices. The Klon overdrive is a quick example of that, but you could throw in any number of guitars/pedals/amps/mics into that group.

So, being discontinued doesn’t automatically mean “more valuable,” but let that get combined with an event or person that starts a vibe going on social media, and it can get ridiculous pretty fast! That very rarely happens when an item is still readily available. Hence the phrase “made from unobtainium” to describe something made more popular by people’s inability to obtain one.

Well, for me it I guess it would be all the ones I own now.

'19 Special SH Ltd, well its was explicitly limited so no surprise.
'20 Silver Sky maple neck technically discontinued because discontinued color : Golden Mesa
'23 SC McCarty 594, surprisingly as I bought it new just a few months ago.

Amusingly in the last year I sold the ones that are still available (Fiore in Sugar Moon and SE Hollow Body 2 Piezo in Black Gold), that may have had some weight in my reasoning for accepting to let them go. Yep, unobtainium is a hard drug, didn't really think this through before.
The Black Gold color has been discontinued on that SE HBII Piezo, though

hmmm... lessee... there's my '97 CE 22, my 2007 Singlecut Trem, a SC245 Goldtop (2009), my Mira 245 25th Anniversary and my Custom 24 25th Anniversary (rotary, 57/08s), a 2010 305, a 2011 core Starla (24.5" scale and all US hardware), my JA-15 (2011), my Hollowbody II Singlecut (2012), my PRS Experience 2018 Special 22 Semi-hollow (technically not discontinued, but pickups unique to this release), my old Korean SE Soapbar (2008), and finally, my SE Santana Singlecut (the only 24.5" scale, singlecut, 24 fret, tremolo-equipped guitar I've ever owned, and sadly only available for one year)... The rest you can still find in the shop....
