Inquiring minds want to know.
2 PRS, 1 Strat that Ive had almost 20 years, and 1 Alvarez acoustic. So 50%. The bass doesn’t technically count.
I chose 100% because it was the closest percentage.
9 guitars, and 8 are PRS.
I have 2 PRS and 1 acoustic, that's all so I chose 100% as electrics.
It's been as little as 0%. It's been as much as 100%.
Electric - 2 PRS, 2 LPs, 3 Strats, 1 Ibanez
Acoustic - 3 CFMartin, 1 Pre-War Guitar Company
Most of 'em. Also there is one token Taylor, one token Costco Olympia, one token Takamine, one token Warmoth, two token Fenders, two token Ibanez, one token Schecter... one Thorn. And a whole bunch of PRS.
Looking at it that way, I suppose it could be argued I have too many guitars. But I will argue that I don't.
partscaster super strat with Mann Made trem.
Since my radical downsizing it is only:
2 PRS, 1 Japanese Fender Strat and 1 parts Tele I just finished building.
There is one Japanese Ibanez bass in the house, as well as a 7 string Ibanez JP style project I need to finish...
- 4 Core PRS
- 1 SE PRS
- 9 non-PRS
3 Basses (none PRS)
7 Acoustic guitars (none PRS)
1 Mandolin (also not PRS)
So if you count the basses and the mandolin, 20% PRS
Guitars...All in...Why not...
Now...Basses...some PRS, but also Spector...
It usually ranges from 12% to 15% depending on my GAS. I currently have approximately 101 guitars in my meager collection at the moment ....
One PRS out of 6 electric. I've got nothing against having more (apart from the lack of necessary money) but I wouldn't want to not have most of those other 5 as well
I've all avenues covered for what I do.
7 electrics (3 SE's, 1 PRS Core, 3 Fender)
1 bass (Squier)
1 acoustic/electric (Taylor)
50% of the amount. 90% of useage.
5 electrics and 1 acoustic:
- PRS Angelus
- PRS McCarty 58
- PRS SC245
- AFJ Stratocaster (spanish luthier)
- Gibson R9
- Gibson Explorer
1 Partscaster I put together
and I just ordered a Harley Benton Dullahan. I'm super interested in guitars without headstocks, but wasn't ready to drop the money on a Kiesel or Strandberg in case I wasn't into it. Should be a fun time.
25% of my Acoustics
75% of my Electrics
100% of my Mandolins
Overall over 50% PRS (soon to be 25% PS)
Over 90% of playtime is PRS.
Current stable of 12 is all PRS. First time it’s been that way.
1/3rd. I only have three electrics. One Gibson, one Fender and one PRS.
