And I thought there were some football fans on this forum.

Like most American's I prefer the underdog. Oddsmakers (in Vegas) gave the 49ers an early 4 1/2-point handicap; putting the total score at 49 points. Plus... the Ravens beat my Broncos so they have to win.

So I'm calling it... Ravens for the win.

I'm a Chiefs fan so the Super Bowl depresses me:wink: Only my team can produce 6 probowlers and get 2 wins....Future looks decent though haha

It's funny - I really don't favor one over the other at this point.... I'd like to see the kid QB play well. But I guess it would be storybook for Ray to get a RING for his last game! ;)

Just hope it's a battle! :D

I love the game of football, but have a hard time following the NFL. Maybe its the fact that there are no teams even close to where I live? I have been very impressed with the QB from SanFran (not even gonna try to spell it), so I am gonna jump on the bandwagon and root for the 49ers.

My Steelers are long out of it so all I care is that the three players I have left in my fantasy playoff team do well.

I'm a huge Steelers fan too and is painful as it is I have to pull for the Ravens. Don't want the 49ers to tie us in Super Bowl wins.

I don't want to use this place as a Bully Pulpit so I've tried to be (somewhat) low-key with my rhetoric. However, there is no doubt where my feelings lie, I gotta go with the home team!

I don't know Les, you used that same "Michigan" connection to predict Tom Brady's return to the big game as well.

I know! And that's ok. Made the AFC championship game? Not too shabby.

Jim's team made the big dance. That's not a bad thing!

I always pull for my Michigan guys. I'm very predictable. :)

Michigan?

No, IU's #1. :congrats:

Know what? I'm honestly happy that the Big Ten has such strong hoops competition! Good game, IU!

IU football will be on the upswing with their recent coaching hire. So will Purdue I think. Minnesota is turning around. Northwestern's tough now. Illinois...well... I really would like to see the Big Ten get stronger everywhere. Wisconsin was a league doormat until Alvarez came in. I love watching them play now. I hope we'll see more great games!

As a fan, sure I want to see UM win. But I love a good game. There should never be an "easy out" in B1G play.

I loved it when Nebraska joined the league, and I'm excited about Rutgers and Maryland coming in. It's going to be a lot of fun, and hopefully we'll see some good games.
