It definitely has a unique tone. It sounds great until I get into my amp's higher gain settings (JSX Satriani head). I suspect the pickups as it sounds kinda loose and lacks definition. I am likely going to change out the RPs just trying to decide what to try. I want pickups that handle moderate to high gain equally well and clean up nicely when I roll the volume back. I do like the twangy tele type tone I get I pull the tone knob but also want a great rockin tone too. Any pickup suggestions?
