What is your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?

INFJ-A the rare bird: The rarest personality type is the INFJ personality type, known as 'The Counselor'. INFJ is the rarest personality type across the population, occurring in just 2% of the population. It is also the rarest personality type among men
  • Insightful – People with the INFJ personality type (Advocates) know all too well that appearances can be misleading. These personalities strive to move beyond superficiality and seek out the deeper truths in life. This can give them an almost uncanny ability to understand people’s true motivations, feelings, and needs.
  • Principled – INFJs tend to have strong beliefs and values, particularly when it comes to matters of ethics. They consider lying to be morally wrong, and they make a concerted effort to not deceive others – even when they could directly benefit from doing so. In fact, they are the least likely personality type to say they sometimes take advantage of other people.
  • Passionate – INFJ personalities crave a sense of purpose in life. Rather than living on autopilot or sticking to the status quo, they want to chase after their dreams. This isn’t a personality type that shies away from shooting for the stars – they are energized and impassioned by the beauty of their visions for the future.
  • Altruistic – People with this personality type aren’t happy to succeed at another person’s expense. INFJs want to use their strengths for the greater good, and they rarely lose sight of how their words and actions might affect others. In their heart of hearts, they want to make the world a better place, starting with the people around them.
  • Creative – INFJ personalities aren’t exactly like everyone else – and that’s a wonderful thing. They embrace their creative side, always on the lookout for opportunities to express themselves and think outside the box.
fits me to a T , add in the High Functioning Autism and I do indeed have a different view of the world, it allowed me to be a very successful support engineer as I never think inside the box .. way too limiting.

Idk who I am? Myers and Briggs personality test. Do I really want to know! Lol

Well, like many here I did not know what this was, and went down the rabbit hole (16personalities.com is the one I did). I did use a VPN and a private browser window to mask any data returned from being linked to me (privacy is important to me). Must say, it was scary how accurate the report was in detailing my personality traits, and pointed out several things to me that could help me make things better in my life. Like my blood type, home address and many other personal items, I will not be posting my results here. Not paranoid of the members knowing this stuff about me, but am aware of the bots that search all forums to build profiles on us as individuals, and I will not be participating in such data skimming (although I have made that mistake here and elsewhere from time to time)! I would recommend others to do this though as it is very valuable personal information IMO! Thanks for initiating this thread Em7, I believe it has helped me understand how to capitalize on some of my traits!!! As usual, the thread also provided plenty of smiles as well as valuable data on other members! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

I run the VPN

Being an INTJ definitely means thinking differently! I’ve always had that independent streak too. I took a test on personality-type.com once, just out of curiosity, and it was eye-opening to see how it validated my tendency to question things and think outside the box.

I recall a project at work where everyone was ready to follow a conventional approach, but I pushed for a different method that I felt was more effective. It was a bit of a struggle at first, but eventually, it led to better results and a lot of “aha” moments for the team. It’s amazing how being true to your type can lead to unique and valuable insights, even if it means going against the grain!

This day just keeps getting worse by the hour. All I could hear was my poor dog throwing up at 5:30 this morning. He has a knack of finding all the small wood pieces from deck and chews on them and swallows them. We put him in the house, on a leash, attached to me with his leash wrapped around my waist. All he does is whine. So we going to Pet smart and let him pick some activity toys to play with while we’re working. I am staying in bed today. Yes there is rest for the wicked and I am a living testament! Lol
