My Myers-Briggs (MB) personality type is INTJ. I knew that I was different at a young age. As you have probably discerned, I am not the kind of guy who goes along with the pack. I am not definitely not into groupthink. For better or worse, I question everything.

Sometimes the test will have me as INTJ and others ENTJ.
It is impossible for me to forget my MB type. Almost every employer for whom I worked wanted to know each employee's MB type. INTJ is rare in the general population, but not in my profession. A large percentage of the people with whom I worked were either INTJs or INTPs.

I just took it again, and this time I came out INTP. I do tend to switch back and forth a bit on the P vs J - and the results showed, this time 51% P 49% J. So, they're close enough that my mood when taking the test can affect that last letter...

INTJ. I am surprised there are already a number of responses that are the same as mine. I find that mine tends to be a little more rare where I live and work.

It appears that being intuitive is a common musician trait. That makes sense because playing music by ear often requires the ability to make intuitive leaps. I already knew that there were more introverted than extroverted guitarists. The reason being that its takes the ability to woodshed for extended periods of time to become a proficient guitarist. Extroverts (i.e., non-borderline extroverts) usually cannot handle that amount of alone time. I am curious if front men and women who do not play a musical instrument tend to be introverted as well.

TBH, I've never done one of them. I doubt there's a category for me anyhoo; luckily for the rest of the world they truly did break the mold when I was formed.
