So I was rear ended recently and it left me driving a rental while my car was in the shop. Perhaps needless to say I was without all of the music I had in my car. I figured it wouldn't be in the shop that long and decided to jam out on the radio. I listened to a serious amount of NPR ("Science Friday" anyone?) but I was changing stations like mad in hopes of catching a Katy Perry tune.

What is your guilty pleasure? Is it even safe to post?

Musically? I have a lot of guilty pleasures there,. Speaking of Katy Perry (she's one of them), she has a very nice MTV Unplugged EP. She really is a solid writer and singer even when you strip away all the expensive production. I hope she outgrows the cheesy pop image someday and makes some more "serious" music.

Trader Joe's Pecan Pie Ice Cream.
Oh, musically? No guilt in listening to anything I enjoy.

Vince Gill. People (my metalhead friends) give me crap for liking him but I think he's just an awesome guitar player and songwriter!

Vince Gill is a monster guitar player, an amazing songwriter, and one of the most talented singers (especially for his range) on the planet. Anyone who knocks that guy has their head firmly up their ass. And I say these things even though he's not "my dear friend".

If you've never seen Katy Perry's SXSW show from before the first album hits, it's well worth tracking down. Before the image was in place and took over. I still have this on my DVR (possibly a different performance - I got it on DirecTV), and it made the album a bit of a disappointment.

Well, here...

I have everything that Prince ever put out. And my all time favourite song might be even worse than that.

I'll stab my own face off before I willingly listen to any music on the radio here in the UK.

I however, can not get enough of Die Antwoord.

Yolandi is a babe. I dig their singles. Haven't listened to a full album. I will remedy this.

I am not a theatre person by nature but really like the soundtrack to Rent. Terrific show if you missed it, no longer on Broadway.

Rent was my 1st Broadway show. We did the lottery & got the $25 front row seats. KILLER show. Wicked was also amazing. Again, got to sit front row & the band pit was like a little city. BIG band!!
