What is your favorite amp?

HXDA for gain and Magnatone Panoramic Stereo for clean.

That I own
Mesa MKV
I would like to try something Dumble like and something Trainwreck like ( Ceriatone looks interesting )
an PRS HXDA would be cool also
Dumble like? How about dead on? Louis Electric Cobra! That’s the one you want.

That I currently own:
1964 Fender Blackface Deluxe non reverb.

That I used to own but stupidly sold:
Original Supro Thunderbolt,
Hiwatt DR103 with 2 EV SRO12 loaded 2 X 12 cabinets.

(The DR103 is my favorite amplifier of all time.)

My Cornford Carrera with an EL34. Perfect home amp for classic rock gain.
I have just bought a line 6 DT50 head real cheap and I've got to say so far I'm really impressed. With the 2.0 firmware you can change the loaded amps with a choice of 30 others and play around with a lot of the power amp settings (actual valve settings). These can have quite a drastic effect. If you want a dual rectifier without the boomy and flubby bass, change the negative feedback rate from resonant to tight or loose, or even none at all to really make the amp sound open and airy and crunchy.
I've got an Android midi controller app and I've programmed buttons with all the midi CC commands so I can change all the amps, Reverbs and power amp settings from my phone. Winner!

That I own: Egnater Renegade w/Egnater Tourmaster 4x12. It's been retubed with quality glass, with the clean channel switched to 6V6's.

That I've ever played through: TrainWreck Express
