Used to be a Standard with a tone knob and a trem up-route, then it was a CU22 with a single-coil sammich... This one? No idea. Where'd you peep it at?

Correct. The Custom 24 Specials came with 85/15 pickups, which isn't standard for Customs. Normally they have 59/09s.

So it didn't actually have 85/15 pickups? It had 59/09s and was mislabeled in the ad?

There are 2 of them in the store. One has 85/15s and the other has 59/09s. What I'm saying is I think they are both just regular CU24s from different years.

Did one of them "speak" to you more than the other ? I'm looking for one with a very strong "quack" tone and woody neck pup tone. Thanks
