And should I register my 3 newer PRS right away? LOL

I rarely go out of the "guitars" and "amps" threads here, but last night while browsing the others, I see mention of "care packages" that PRS sends when you register a new guitar. I've bought 3 new core models in the last 2 years, and just realized I haven't registered any of them. (silly, I know, but I hadn't even thought about it til I read that last night).

I only registered my first PRS. I never received anything. (including the free Melbay lessons I signed up for) I didn't bother thereafter

I've only seen the 'care packages' advertised when they do a promo - generally during the summer. In my part of the world, you fill out a form and send it with proof of purchase to PRS Europe. A few weeks later you get a t-shirt, hat, strings, polish and some other goodies...

But it's not something they do normally.

Maybe in the UK they do the promo deals in the summer, but here in the US, they do them about a month AFTER I buy one.

LOL, what luck.

Seriously.

I think it was four or five years in a row that I managed to buy a PRS, and only once did I get one during a promo period (I think it was my 7-string). The promos started a month or so after I bought guitars every year - usually I'd buy one at Experience and the deal would start in November. The first year I didn't get one until November - and the deal was for December purchases.

Yeah, if there is a care package running, it will show on the website. Haven't seen on in a while.... I expect big 30th anni ongoings coming soon.
