What, if any, are the differences...

...between a McCarty and an MC58?

I purchased a nice Eriza Verde MC58 the other night. I was wondering how it differs from a "regular" McCarty - aside from some of the aesthetics - neck binding, etc. Thanks!! I'll post pics when it arrives....

I think it is pretty much equivalent to what is now a McCarty with Artist Package. You might consider it the father of the current McCarty models. Headstock veneer, locking tuners, Pattern neck, and binding were all new design elements.

The current McCarty comes with 58/15 pickups and the MC58 has 57/08´s in it. That might be a significant difference.
