Is there a Fender Strat neck type closer to shape, size and feel of our beloved Pattern Regular?

Watch the radius, a lot of vintage C necks will have a 7.25 radius with modern C typically 9.5

Go DC3. You get the strat tones with the PRS radius, jumbo frets, and the killer trem. Mine will be buried with me.

Never thought about this model. Actually I never seen one in my country. Will take a look for sure.

I have a great sounding strat (96 Ultra with Lollar Blondies) but I just found out that I would enjoy it more if the neck wasn't so thin.

Pattern Regular is the ultimate shape for me, so if I find some nice twang sound strat with similar profile or even a replacement neck that fits would be so nice.

Check out warmoth for necks. They probably have a profile for a strat youd like or atleast some measurement details to compare.

This hint me the idea to maybe try a local luthier to build a neck to the specs....

Looking at specs the newer Deep C would be close. Its similar to the C or modern C but chunkier at the 12th fret with a wider nut. It sits between a C and U with rolled edges. Measurements do vary more than expected from guitar to guitar. Just check out Wildwood's actual measurements for a few guitars of a model, and you'll see what I mean. Though the bulk of them stay in a closer range.

Fender Specs
Nut 4.28 cm
1st fret .820
12th fret .920
Radius 9.5

Very nice my friend. I see that Deep C is common among Custom Shop Models... this is nice!

Custom shop!!! American Professional II as well

Not totally changing the topic... still, did you tried this American Professional II? Due to specs and sound demos on Youtube, looks like a CS for a third of the price. Interesting!

I have. Its an awesome strat! Well worth it and a good deal if you ask me. The dark knight is really cool in person. It kinda changes color and finish by angle and lighting. CS is worth it to you to build to your specs much like a private stock. Would I buy one off the rack just to have a CS, probably not.

Just ordered one in Surf Green and Maple Neck =)
It will take a long international road to reach me... but I will share my impressions here as soon as I play it.
Thanks for all the tips!!

Congratulations! And you're welcome.. Great combo, I can't wait to hear more!

Finally it arrived (and before xmas time).

Great neck! Just what I was looking for.
The finish is out of this world in person.
I chose maple to have a better sound contrast to my other strat (The 96 Ultra) which have ebony fingerboard and a heavier body.
So far loving the sound, specially paired with the Jubilee.
Thanks for point me the directions. =)
