What do you clean your maple necks with?

The NF3 is ready for a restring and this time the neck needs to be cleaned while the strings are off. What should I use? It's a not a gloss neck, so I don't know if I can still use the regular Dunlop polish or not.

I haven’t used a cleaner on my 20 year old SAS neck yet. I wipe it after playing. When I change strings if there is anything that doesn’t just wipe off, just a hint of damp on the cloth - champagne sweat is perfect - will bring it up. Then wipe dry, new strings with Christmas tree wings and play it some more.

I use butcher’s wax on the fingerboard and the rest of the neck. Once a year is fine on my SAS.
