I got to thinking about how pristine and beautiful every PRS guitar that I've ever seen looks. It's rumored that Eddie Van Halen asked Paul if he had any guitars that still had some "Bark" on them, and we all know how tortured and abused Eddie's guitar(s) look(s). Well now I'd like to see what they look like after they've been thrown down a flight of concrete stairway ten times. Or as my Grandfather would say "Rode hard and put away wet". People pay good money to give the "Relic" treatment to Gibbys and Strats so what about a PRS?

Anyone have good pics of battered and bruised PRS guitars?

wow....that made me feel ill. Gibsons and Fenders, especially Fender's because they're so stale looking, benefit from some ware, but a PRS? I always felt ill when I'd see Dave Baksh of Sum 41's beaten up PRS guitars, seeing someone 'relic' one just seems like a sin

Never mind, I found some pics...

Most YouTube videos have many more likes than dislikes. I am glad to see this one has the opposite.

There is no such thing as "relicing".

There is real life love, use and bruises (provenance), and there is poser stupidity.

Ah, but what happens when you've licked something once, and then do it again?

Why, that would be re-licking. With a K.

As with a stamp, or an envelope or a lollipop or a spoon, O dirty minded people!

Even though it's a very awkward, poorly conceived joke, I nonetheless made it. Thank you! Thank you very much!
