What do non US residents do if they want PTC services?

I hope this doesn't tempt fate on me and my CU22, but I was wondering what non US residents (UK in my case) do if they want/need some PRS repair work or the services of the PTC? I'm guessing the answer is going to be "speak to the store you purchased it from" but has anyone had to do this and what was the timescale of events?
