What did you practice with/gig this week?

What is that ET90 paired with?
Another ET90. Those were the speakers that were in the ultralinear twin. I have a single ET65 I was using in the combo and was/am on the fence about getting two more ET65s or two more ET90s. After tonight, I'm leaning towards the ET90s

Looking forward to hear how it went!
Gig went well and I'm happy with the setup. Really nice to have a 212 because it moves more air and gives the bass a better thump without killing people in direct line of the amp with treble.

Put simply; it was loud but didn't hurt.

Excellent!
Love it when the gear just works.

Looks stunning Jake and great to hear it all worked out.
Thanks! This is actually the first time I've used tolex on anything and I was surprisingly easy to apply.

The grille cloth was a bit more difficult and there's one spot you can see in the top corner where it got a little hot and melted while I was shrinking it down. The good news is I built a removable frame for the grille so I can take it apart easily.

Brushing up my bass chops this week. As much as I love guitar from a performance perspective I enjoy bass more , just more relaxing.
The nice thing is it really builds up the fingers ! Although "Owsley" is as close to effortless as any instrument I've played

I have to bump this because something very special has happened...

They got new carpet!

No crime scene here.

Last few practices have seen my 594 SC SH. Last couple of times with the McRosie with 58/15 LT. The 594 soapie has been abused by my lead player who is now actively seeking one for himself...

Hey, where’s the Silver Sky with the Big Softee strap on??

Yesterday I built a new preset on my Axe FXIII (a modeler). A recent update to the Axe made some big improvements, so I decided to rebuild my kitchen sink preset from scratch. I had been intending to do this since my July album release, and finally got around to it. Almost there with my 8 scenes (different tones are what make a "scene" on the axe and I have one chorus, one phaser, one flanger, one drive crunched though drive is used on several of the scenes, one synth, one wah), two of them still need some "spice", but so far sounding killer to my ears, even compared to my previous kitchen sink preset I have been using for ~3 years (which I like better than any other third party or factory presets I have tried so far). My amp of choice in this modeler is the Dumble ODS100 Clean. The two cabinets I am using in the modeler are 4x12 1960TV and a 4x12 Orange crate (one with ribbon mic, one with a condenser mic, panned 100% L/R). And to be clear, I am playing my HBII 594 95% of the time, middle switch position, 7's on all 4 knobs, and I don't touch that stuff when I am playing, I would rather use my foot switches to change things up.
