What car would you drive if you had to pick one from the year you were born?

I was born in 1977, which was a bad year for cars. Oil crises and new safety regulations were strangling auto makers' designs. However, there were some gems. A lot of guys might pick a Porsche 911 or a Corvette, but 2 seaters have never been my speed. Not to mention, my 6'6" frame doesn't fit most of these short-people-only designs.

I would go with the 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser.

Man, I ALWAYS wanted a '57 Chevy, but for this thread...I was born in '66 so I'd probably go with a Camero.

I have one that looks almost exactly like that! Except mine's the Pentastar. Loving the hell out of it.

I know nothing about cars from 1980. I'd say something crazy like a Ferrari, but a diesel Benz would be cool cause it might still be running.
