I love looking back at threads like this to see what I posted in it before. Of the 3 guitars I posted about back in the fall, only 1 is still at the top of the list. My Fiesta Red Esquire is my undisputed favorite and has been for some time. It took me quite some time to get the previous owner to sell it to me and I imagine it would take a pretty weird situation to ever get rid of it. Of course I said that about the guitar I sold to be able to buy it so who knows.
A different PRS has moved into my favorite humbucker guitar slot and is probably played almost as much as the Esquire. I love McCartys and have tended to stick with ones with rosewood necks. This particular guitar with a mahogany neck just sounds better than my other ones. There's a repaired headstock break that's not cosmetically pretty but solid. A wing broke off.
This picture doesn't do the top justice. It's hard to believe this didn't qualify as a 10 Top in 1995. This beast has a lot of replaced parts (most of them) and is a killer player.
