What Are You Working On?

Just listened to "Arms of God." Great song there Jeremy! Liked the arrangement a lot! Did you come up with all of that?
Thank you! I wrote the song and the arrangement except for the vocals, guitars, and percussion. My brother Dan did the mix which made a big difference too.

Lookin' good AR!

Thanks brother.

Nice job AR.
I see the boss is coming in to inspect in the last pic

Thanks.

Yeah he came in there today as I was putting up the panel heater. I think he could become a regular visitor 😂

He jumped up on the work bench to watch me and make sure I didn’t blow anything up 🥴

No photos, but redecorating my house. We hired an interior designer/old friend and she gave us a very cool plan that we are implementing right now. Yesterday and today I painted the kitchen and it looks great. A little daunting, but cool!

This is an instrumental I’m working on called “Changing Seasons”.

The song starts out in winter and moves through spring, summer, fall and then back to an icy winter. Listen for the three months in each season, the sunrises and sunsets … and a couple extra notes in fall for falling leaves. It’s still a work in process and this was a first “live” take from a newbie guitar player so the playing will get better over time. 😎

I have a few beater project guitars and over the years have worked the setups to make them great players, low action, etc. One had its own specific issues, odd high buzzing fret, etc which I could not solve with truss rod or bridge adjustments. Recently, I ended up with a brass nut with individual adjustable screws for each string. works great. why didnt I think of that. I have a new to me SE24 and after a few days now have a bone nut, ground the back to a perfect height, and the individually adjustable saddles are great. really like the setup - dont need to go lower. which is rare for me. so I guess fine tuning setups is what I am working on now. A little pet project I'm hoping to materialise sometimes next year
