What Are You Working On?

Just doing some deep analyzing of my songs choices. Trying to come up with some killer little fills here and there in the songs that are not played note for note. That way I can add some originality to these cover tunes.

Show the nail gun

That is a very personal request and I don't know that forum rules would allow the display of his "nail gun" (is that what the kids are calling it these days)!

My thoughts exactly. Pav, that was supposed to be between us!

I’m away at the moment, but will post pics of the “first fix” and “finishing” guns that I’m using. Borrowed from a good friend, who has lots of tools.

My power tools have been increasing recently that I’ve had to take precautions-

This bad boy is loud, ear protection is necessary.

So glad you are wearing protection when you cut! Milwaukee can have some very potent discharge!!

Honestly, there is a ton shite that ppl don’t realize about one of my favourite guitar players. The techniques are more then what I thought.
This a whole other playing style that I must learn. I can’t afford to waste a second. I have 7 months which is the blink of an eye basically.

I left my ear buds in for most of the day yesterday and when I went to practice last night I couldn’t hear my guitar the way I would normally. This morning I am fine. That was scary and I don’t know what happened but I will never do that again! Couldn’t even imagine NO hearing!

I did mine the old fashioned way. A powered screwdriver and a hammer. Banged my fingers twice, only

Roof on -

Roofing paper and counter batten -

Tongue & Groove -

Door and guttering -

Some inside shots -

And finally, a coat of paint on the door -

I’ve still to sort electrics, extra door lock and bench vice. But everyone deserves a holiday 🤪
I see a red door and I want to paint it black! So what happens when you see a black door?

Anyway, looks like some quality work there Reub!! Nail it!!! Just make sure you choose the correct screwdriver when doing this kind of work:

That would make a great mini studio in my back yard. Perfect size. Just have to do some soundproofing and winterize to a certain degree where I can play in comfort.

Here's my shed I just finished earlier in the week. Not as good as @Alnus Rubra creation, and it still need isulation, bench, shelving, but I'm really happy I have a space for my neardy needs.
