What Are You Working On?

So we as a couple want to downsize our house soon. We want to move toward retirement-LOL! (I will never retire). BUT_ I have a 2000 sq foot studio, with isolation booth, control room and performance area (15X 30) All isolated - . If i move I need some guitars gone _ I have a lot. they are all American made , top quality > Where is the best place to sell hi-end ($ 3-10,000) guitars with success. Not confident it's Reverb.
Chicago Music Exchange is a pleasure to deal with. They will tell you up front what they are going to list your guitars for (without seeing them) and then give you 70% of that. No haggling or other BS. I've sold them close to 40 guitars and amps since 2019.

My next plan is to sort out my hobby room/home office for the pending arrival of a custom Zilla 4x12. This could be fun, I don't have room haha.

Practice boards for an upcoming JTM-50 plexi build (it's really hard to find a good HXDA). And doing it really satisfies the inner engineer. First build since a Heathkit TA-16 solid state amp that my brother & I did around 1970. So before embarking on the full amp it felt like some practice was worthwhile.

The only real mistake so far is in the first pic where the hammer slipped while mounting a turret. Not a big deal as there were only a few turrets attached to an extra $7.50 board. The lightly populated board is for driving a single 12AX7 preamp tube that has the V1a and V2a stages from the plexi and will test the power & heater circuits and noise levels prior to switching in the normal turret board. All the practice components are cheap and it's been a good way get a few steps up on the learning curve.
