What are my pick ups

I pulled my pick ups from my PRS (a single cut core) a few years ago as they weren't hot enough for my liking, however I've recently purchased a guitar with broken humbuckers and thought my old PRS pups might work well in it. As they have no markings I took a multimeter to them to determine which is neck/bridge - I'm getting readings of around 3.9k and 5.8k. That seems super low for a humbucker. Any idea what these pups could be with those readings? I can't find anything online with similar readings?

That crossed my mind, however there are only two wires coming out of the pick up, black (with shielding) and white, I've just measured the resistance across these two, not sure what else I can measure...

The user Johnny Rig did an overview chart of all PRS Pickups and your readings to appear on it:

So something seems to be off with your pickups

It has to be double hey. I'm thinking they're Dragon II's, read somewhere else this what was typically used on the model. 2003 edition, the numbers line up. Thanks for this...

Dragon II’s didn’t come in a Singlecut.
2003 Singlecuts came with covered #7 pickups in stoptail guitars and zebra #6’s in trem guitars.

PRS pickups would often have markings or stickers on the bottom to tell you what they are. Did you buy your core Singecut new, or was it used? If it was used, then there's no telling what aftermarket pickups could be in there. (And there are countless "humbucker" looking pickups that act like single coils and/or very low R when measured in the normal fashion.)

Thanks all, yes I was measuring across the black and white wires, so getting half/split coil values - checked again black to braid and they have more expected values 11.4k and 7.75k. Though they don't match up with anything on Johnny Rig's table, I guess they would be #6's.
To answer Going Modal, I bought second hand but they are PRS pups - have the PRS USA stamp on them, but no stickers, so not sure what happened to them.

They'd be #6 or basically uncovered D2s per Shawn@PRS when he was around.

This is hysterical to me. The DII’s in my CE-22 and one of my Cu22’s I would describe as vanilla or neutral. However, their #6 cousins in my Singlecut Standard Satin sound fantastic and very alive. Yes, 3 totally different guitars, but if It would help improve the sound with the DII’s - off with their covers!:p:D

PRS pickups are (or used to be) like the Taco Bell menu: it’s the same five ingredients in everything, like the difference between a taco and a tostada.
