Hello everyone, first thing to do introduce me, my name is Aitor, I'm from San Sebastian in Spain.
I bought my PRS in 1999 or so. It is a very different model to the current ones, and I would like to know if someone could help me to know the year of manufacture.
It is a model with three simple pickups and a strato-style pickguard, and the serial number is 050475.
Do I have a jewel or an old guitar?

Pics would help, as there’s no real way to tell what you have by the serial number alone.

I’m gonna guess you have a 1990 EG.... and all PRS guitars are jewels.

Yeah, that’s the first generation of the EG guitars. Alder body, maple bolt on neck, Seymour Duncan single coils... cool guitars with more of a “strat” vibe.

Yep. If it has 3 single coils it's an EG3. HSS is an EG4. I have a sweet one...
