Yep. Did it today. Had planned to do it before summer, but for whatever reason never did. Then it was before Experience - nope. Finally did it today.

The before:

Already on its way to Locks Of Love. First became aware of them when Sammy Hagar did his thing way back when on the Tonight Show. They do wigs for kids with cancer - there was a doc on HBO a few years ago that was just heartbreaking to watch. They focused on three kids, and at least one of them wouldn't go outside because she didn't have any hair. When she got her wig, it was a complete change of personality - she was like her normal self again. So, this is one of the few things I can actually do that helps. So I do - this is the fourth or fifth or sixth time I've donated. And the longest. This one measured 17" at its longest - that's like six times as long as...well, it's a lot.

It feels strange - I almost dislocated my elbow the first time I brushed it afterwards because the resistance ended a lot sooner than I was used to. It's been something like three years since I had any real length cut off it.

I told my wife no one's going to recognize me from behind now!!!

One flashback to get PRS content...

That's a really cool thing to do. I wish I could. I don't suppose they'd want any chest hair, huh?

Have you felt any diminishing of your Hesher powers since the cutoff? I bet sweep-picking is harder now.

That's awesome! Locks Of Love is a wonderful organization. My wife made a donation to them about a year ago, and she's working on another. I'd do it, too, but I have enough trouble growing what little hair I have.

I still feel like one of those dogs with the little nub tails.
