I just saw one for sale with a sweet top and birds. I'll dig around and see if I can find it. It was from the second run of 85 guitars. Dude wants $2500 for it.

Try living in Aus. I know of 2 over here and I have one of them. One popped up on the local market for very reasonable $ and I nabbed it as quick as you can say "number 23 of 25"

As far as the above Black Cherry DC22 that was an auction that went off on eBay 1.5 years ago, last bid around $1,650. Where was I? Where were we?
Well I thank the forum and am still tailoring my specs for a medium / high end PRS model.
You all, back posts and Ron have given me a ton of help, that I appreciate.
Basically my evolving requirements are as follows:
- A smooth back ( maybe now a rosewood? ) Do not like my current 2013 CU22.
- A W/F or Pattern. and 22 frets. I mistakenly bought the wide/ thin.
- I also cannot do the 6100 frets so a lot of the Modern Eagle's that I see have them and I think this DC22 has them too? SO they are out.
I need regular (6105 type) PRS frets like my 2013 CU22 has. I like to slide my chords around not just snuggle up to the fret edge and play leads.
This is a partial list that will evolve for scale length, style, control layout, and inevitably I like a dramatic top. My preference for colors and wood patterns change almost daily after seeing a few of Ron's and the vast marketplace out there.
Who knows where this will lead? Maybe a custom that some one had with a satin back neck?
