Well, I bought a new non-malfunctioning digital control soldering station and fought back!!! SE CU24 quilt Violet

That was not fun, but I was determined to finish this one after butchering components the first go round... 6 Way Freeway Blade Switch, PRS Core Dragon II pickups replacing stock SE 85/15's (I've never owned a PRS with Dragon II pickups), CTS 525 KOhm pots, .022uF orange drop cap. Removed treble bleed circuit. 6 unique and killer tones with 2 pickups! Humbucker bridge, humbucker bridge+neck, humbucker neck, split coil bridge, split coil bridge+neck, split coil neck.
Thing sounds and plays plush! Don't forget the PRS locking tuners added and a USA John Mann MannMade tremolo brass tone block to replace the pot metal SE tone block.

Okay, Ricky Kellems gets to do the other two... This one whooped my tail the first attempt after having to replace my digital soldering station.

I have never actually owned a guitar with Dragon II pickups... Only played other people's or store models.

I guess I need to record something with the Axe FX III, FM9, Quad Cortex, H&K Triamp Mark 3, or the Egnater 4100 Tourmaster (mine has the upgraded transformers). My custom point to point wired dual Fender-esque 100 watt amp head is buried somewhere in the upstairs half of the studio. LoL!

Congratulations for not giving in. Don’t know how many screw heads, threads and soldering jobs I f*** up due to cheap tools. I‘m a big fan of the D2 myself, awesome pickups 👍

There is just one thing and maybe you did it on purpose: The bridge PU seems upside down to me.
Experiment! Sounds good. If I don't like it later, I'll flip it.

I adjusted the pole pieces in that position/orientation.

Those free-way blade switches look fantastic. I generally don’t like blade switches, but if I had a guitar with one, I’d definitely try one out.

I had a couple of their first-generation toggles and they were an amazing idea, but were prone to internal components failing if you weren’t SUPER careful with applying heat while soldering. The new ones look like a HUGE improvement, and I need to try one out soon.

Had no problems with it at all!

Experiment over ... Flipped the bridge pickup back to screw poles next to the bridge. Very subtle difference, though. I may have had trouble telling the difference without recording both ways and comparing.
