Weird Color Names

There are two color names I ran across recently that I thought were weird and was wondering if anyone knew the story of where they came from.

One was a Bruise Burst (the 594) and the other was a Boyd Burst (the CU24).

I've seen the first one called 'Bonnie Pink over Blue Matteo' too. Rather uninspired.
I think I'll ask for bruise burst from now on.

Actually, that's one of the more literal names. I've met Larry. You know how some people just have those complexions that show colour really well? He's one of those people.

Yeah, Leprechaun Tooth always stood out as a name to me, too.

Quite a bit. Grandma Hannon pink is a pastel; Bonnie pink is a bold, vivid, "hot" pink.
