House is empty for a few hours. It’s a beautiful long weekend. So do I:

    - be civilized and play classical on the deck
    - sit in the music room with a view and wind up the Mark V
    - try the Kemper through my MDT 4x10 in the windowless library
    - try the Kemper through my Fishman pedestal out on the patio and hope my neighbours are already deaf

If the house is empty, go loud. Bonus for doing so in a room with a view.

Good idea, but not an option for me until the stimulants I drank wear off.

Find a vox profile in that kemper and play a P90?

I miss my vox, it was on my mind

I did play a Vox, a Marshall, and something else on the Kemper. It sounded pretty good through the MDT cab. Rosewood Santana for that round. I looked at my old Les Paul while I was there, but didn’t plug it in.

Cranked the Mark V in the room looking out to the woods. Brain’s Instagram post compelled me to pull out the Tree of Life, which in my case is a SC250 with 57/08. You can make that sucker scream. I think the neighbours on both sides went to the cottage - not sure if it was before or after I plugged in though.

It might be time for a malt beverage.

I couldn't really give a suggestion without seeing the landscape.
    Chocolate or Vanilla malt?

Same view outside from the deck...or the patio, but it has some deck support to look through

Looking inside the music room, while playing I see

someone else coming in might see

    or

The library is more like this - with lots of shelves of books

Oh, and to carry on the story.
Last night between the sunset and the moonrise I played the classical - the ladies were doing peaceful things the next room over.

This afternoon, they were out so I went with the deck plan - but inside because it was stinking hot and humid. I used my original hollowbody - 20 years old this year.

I wondered where they went off to this afternoon. Tell ‘em I’ll expect them back in the morning.

You have some strange phenomena going on in your abode!

    UFO in the garden!

Two headed Martian in the music room!

I had the same kind of decision to make today, but in fewer rooms.

I wound up cranking up the DG30 and played a 594 through it.

No sense in going acoustic with my wife gone for the afternoon!
